Yes this Mike & I’s way of announcing that we are welcoming a child to our family but it’s so much more.  It shows endurance, perseverance, determination, hopes and dreams.  You see, we were told that in order to get where we are today, we would need A.R.T. (Assisted Reproductive Technology) in the form of IVF (In vitro fertilization)

IF or infertility is a disease. It affects approximately 6.1 million individuals throughout the United States alone.  Yet it’s not something openly talked about because it is an intimate, private, and delicate subject.  It’s embarrassing and not ‘normal’ even if it is something completely beyond your control.  People tend to ‘judge’ you and try to apply advice.  There’s just no good way through IF.

I’ve been trusting in God the entire way.  He’s brought us through our long and trying journey and after several tries & thousands of dollars later, we are excited for the chance He had given us.  It is bitter sweet because there are many amazing IF ladies/men/couples out there that are never given this chance.
