Welcome to the blog and thank your for stopping by! Take a look around and take a look into my most recent work. I may show off some cool new stuff I will be offering this year. Love what you see? Contact me to set up a time to meet at the studio.
I hope you enjoy looking at the photos I share, I just ask that you please do not try to right-click and borrow my photos. It's just not nice. They are watermarked with my name for a reason. They have this thing called a copyright. If you are still unsure what that is.. please take a moment to read here.
Feel free to leave a comment! Hope to see ya soon!
There’s a whole lot more to this photo. Yes this Mike & I’s way of announcing that we are welcoming a child to our family but it’s so much more. It shows endurance, perseverance, determination, hopes and dreams. You see, we were told that in order to get where we are today, we would need A.R.T. (Assisted Reproductive Technology) in the form of IVF (In vitro fertilization)
IF or infertility is a disease. It affects approximately 6.1 million individuals throughout the United States alone. Yet it’s not something openly talked about because it is an intimate, private, and delicate subject. It’s embarrassing and not ‘normal’ even if it is something completely beyond your control. People tend to ‘judge’ you and try to apply advice. There’s just no good way through IF.
Most of the medication taken up to this point and a nice bruise!
I’ve been trusting in God the entire way. He’s brought us through our long and trying journey and after several tries & thousands of dollars later, we are excited for the chance He had given us. It is bitter sweet because there are many amazing IF ladies/men/couples out there that are never given this chance.
Anyone with questions about IF or about our journey, please feel free to PM me.
For those of you who have been following this blog from the beginning, you’ll remember Alyssa. I was excited when she contacted me again! She had gotten married in a small ceremony and was looking to get wedding photos with her new husband. Wedding photos with now timeline?! Yes I’ll take it! Since horses are a passion for Alyssa, we thought of ways to incorporate that in to her photos. Check out what we came up with! Congrats Aaron and Alyssa and thanks for thinking of me again to capture such a great event in your life!
I’ve had the privilege of photographing quite a few seniors this season (I’ll be posting some soon!) I had fun shooting twin sisters Adri and Alex. We scheduled an perfect day for our session! This March warm weather has been so nice to shoot in. Here are a few from our fun session
Here in Northwest Ohio, it’s been unseasonably warm…and I’m not complaining! Here is a picture of my baby Chewie soaking up the sun in 80 degree weather. Happy first day of spring!
Ha! Things have been soo busy around here that I’m finding less and less time to blog. So sad BUT I’ve had a long talk with myself and I promise to be better about getting a blog post out there at least once a week. So stay tuned, I have a lot of recent work to show off
What a way to start the new year than by photographing a wedding with a best friend for a best friend! When Cindy told me that her daughter was getting a married, I informed her that she had no choice in the matter….I was photographing it. She laughed and then said good because I had no choice! She also invited Charlotte and together we shot the most perfect January wedding to date. Here is just a sample of what we shot. Congrats guys!
What a perfect day for an October wedding! So perfect you would think that Heidi had something to do with it. Surrounded by family and friends, Mike and Heidi had the biggest reception this year. Wow! This group loved to have a great time and I have pictures to prove it . Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Chirstman!
When Christy and I were planning her and Rob’s engagement session, we settled on the Sandusky area. Well, when the day came, mother nature had other plans. So a new date was decided but moved the session to a location a little more down south….to the beautiful campus of Ohio University. Christy attended school there and Rob spend many weekends there so it was only fitting! One of the first things I noticed was how Rob would look at Christy. Wow. It’s so awesome to see how much they love each other. Take a look for yourself
Planning an outdoor October wedding can be tricky but from what I was told Heather had always had her heart set on marring outside. So Steve and Heather set the date and crossed their fingers. It was a blustery windy day but perfect nonetheless! Take a look at the new Mr. and Mrs. Mendez below and leave them some love!
This is what y0u get when two police offices fall in love and get married!
